High demands on information security

“Anyone doing business with Gemba must be able to trust that their information is in good hands with us. We think that is extremely important. Achieving the ISO 27001 certificate proves how seriously we take information security and that we meet all requirements in this area, including those of the GDPR. It gives our customers and other parties who entrust us with their personal and company data extra security. We are proud to offer that,” says Alexander van Zoelen, General Manager of Gemba.

Independent certification

ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard in the field of information security. The standard describes how organizations systematically deal with securing information. The aim is to guarantee the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information. The ISO 27001 certification is valid for three years. During that period, annual audits take place to check whether the requirements are still being met. After three years, recertification by an independent party is required.
