AI will also play an increasingly important role in the maintenance world, that is beyond question. But what concrete applications should you imagine? At Maintenance NEXT 2025, we will show this with various software demos at our booth. IBM Maximo Application Suite (IBM MAS) makes smart use of IBM’s AI solution Watsonx.

In the demos, we will show a number of practical possibilities. For example, how do you use image recognition to find the defect on the asset on display at our booth? And how does AI help speed up a work process? Think of automatically generating a service request and then a workflow, based on a defect code. As icing on the cake, the mechanic to whom the job is assigned is also presented with the most logical solution to the problem. No more endless ploughing through a manual yourself.

We are also participating in the Experience Tour that Maintenance NEXT organizes for visitors to the event several times a day. This is an inspiring tour in small groups along a number of selected booths. Two themes are central to the Experience Tour: one is innovation and technology, the other is sustainability. This tour will also bring you to our booth.

Besides on the exhibition floor, you can find Gemba in the theater of Maintenance NEXT 2025, to be precise on April 9 from 11.45 to 12.30. Then we will discuss the possibilities of AI within asset management in more detail, in a duo presentation with IBM. After a short explanation of ten to 15 minutes, an in-depth break-out session on this topic will follow. Definitely worth your visit! That is Maintenance NEXT in general, of course, as the most important technology and maintenance expo in the Benelux.
