April 8-10, Maintenance NEXT 2025
From April 8 – 10, 2025, Maintenance NEXT will be back in Rotterdam Ahoy – the technology and maintenance expo. We will be there again this year, with our own booth: 3.210. We have a lot to tell and show during Maintenance NEXT.
What can you expect at our booth?
- AI-driven IBM Maximo solutions: Discover how artificial intelligence optimizes your maintenance processes.
- Advanced visual inspection: Experience the future of asset monitoring with our cutting-edge visual inspection technology.
- Drone inspection technology: Learn more about the possibilities of drone inspections (no drone flights will be performed, but we can sketch a good picture of the options based on practical examples).
With these demonstrations, you can experience for yourself what the latest innovations are and how we, as Gemba, successfully deploy groundbreaking technologies with our hands-on experience. We are happy to tell you what is currently possible and what this means for your company.

Collaborating on a fast and efficient maintenance chain
During your visit to Maintenance NEXT 2025, we will show you how we, together with partners, make your maintenance chain fast and efficient and relieve you of your worries. How does this work in practice? And what role does AI play?
- The central hub in this maintenance chain is IBM Maximo Application Suite (IBM MAS), set up for you by Gemba. With this software suite full of smart enterprise asset management tools, you can record all your assets and maintenance information and manage your maintenance activities.
- In addition to this hub, there is the Viewport document management system, with all the technical documentation of your assets. All this data is linked to IBM MAS for retrieving data back and forth. Viewport uses AI to quickly find the documents you are looking for at that moment (read more in this blog).
- Smart AIS carries out inspections on your assets with drones. The company translates the findings of these inspections into advice for the required maintenance (read more in this blog).
- AI accelerates the analysis of the inspection data. With an algorithm, developed by partner Airvision on behalf of Smart AIS, it is possible to recognize and mark rust spots on images. This way, experts only have to look at those selected images and not go through thousands of photos.
- Finally, the contractor (SPIE) gets to work and carries out the repairs.
During Maintenance NEXT, we have a practical setup where this chain is made transparent. The flange boom that is physically located in the iTank pavilion (booth 5.104) is the subject of inspection. All steps of the chain will be demonstrated.
Presentation Knowledge Theater
On Wednesday, April 9, we will share even more knowledge and inspiration during our session in the theater. From 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM, Stefan Hoffmanns (product development manager at Gemba) and Ronald Teijken (SME Asset Management at IBM Technology) will talk about how the combination of AI, drones and IBM Maximo Application Suite makes your maintenance smarter, faster and more sustainable.
Will you be there?
We would like to meet you during this inspiring trade fair.
